Alward Named Senior VP of Operations at

SKOWHEGAN, Maine - Skowhegan Savings announced that Vicki Alward of Cornville, Maine, has been named senior vice president of operations.
Alward has been with the bank since 2006, most recently in the position of compliance officer. Her new role reflects her current oversight of the operational areas of the bank, including deposit and loan operations, branch administration, audit and compliance, and facilities.
"Vicki has consistently demonstrated the leadership skills needed to fulfill this role," noted John Witherspoon, president and CEO of Skowhegan Savings. "Her knowledge regarding these aspects of the bank makes her a valuable member of our team as we grow our business."
Prior to joining Skowhegan Savings, Alward worked as a loan review officer at Bangor Savings Bank and as a senior accountant at Berry, Dunn, McNeil, and Parker, CPA's. She serves as a board member and treasurer for the Somerset Economic Development Corporation and serves on the board of mPower Adaptive Equipment Loan Fund.
