Moxie Outdoor Adventures will be offering free river raft rides down the river for ages 5 to Senior Citizens. All safety gear will be provided. Youths must be accompanied by an adult.
All participants must register for raft trips inside the River Fest Event Tent to receive more information and a departure time.

Skowhegan Parks & Recreation Bike Giveaway: Several new bicycles will be raffled off to children ages 6-10! Easy to enter & win. Children ages 6-10 who participate in one of the family fun activities with a physical emphasis, (e.g., rock climbing wall, bike course, etc.) Saturday, June 25 in the Municipal Parking lot will receive a raffle ticket to enter the drawing. The drawing will take place at 12:30 on Saturday, next to the bike trailer in the Municipal Parking lot.
Bikes are generously sponsored by the New Balance Foundation.

Be creative! Light up your canoe/kayak while we ride on the river. Life vests & flashlight required. $5.00 registration fee includes glow stick. Additional glow sticks available for purchase. Register at the Skowhegan Recreation Department up until June 24 at 4:00 pm.

8:00 am 5K Road Race @ at Coburn Park
Enjoy scenic views of Skowhegan as our route takes you through Coburn Park and across Skowhegan’s walking bridge!
$10.00 registration fee. Race registration can be taken care of anytime during the weekend at the River Fest table under the tent. You can also pre-register by calling the Skowhegan Parks & Recreation Department at 474-6901. Road Race sponsored by the Skowhegan Rotary Club.
